Your Romantic All-Inclusive Resort Guide:
LOS CABOS

DESTINATION WEDDINGS - HONEYMOONS - GROUP TRAVEL

Here at Hi-Level Travel, I find Los Cabos to be the most underrated gem of Mexico. This beautiful all-inclusive destination sits on the tip of the Baja Peninsula and has a surprising desert climate – lots of sunny days and lower humidity.

You’ll never get tired of the gorgeous sunsets in Los Cabos, and if you visit between December and April, there’s a good chance you’ll spot some whales on their annual migration.
One important note about Los Cabos: You aren’t allowed to swim in the ocean here due to the strong undertow. We never find that to be a problem, as the all-inclusive resorts in Cabo offer fabulous pools and swim-up bars. If swimming in the ocean is a must-have, there are a few exceptions to the general rule.
I love Cabo so much; I made THREE trips there in 2023.

All-Inclusive Romantic Vacations in Los Cabos

The all-inclusive resort options in Cabo range from budget-friendly to ultimate luxury, so there’s a resort that’s just right for every family.
Some couples love visiting Los Cabos so when you’re looking for an all-inclusive resort for your couple's trip, remember that Los Cabos is broken up into 3 main tourist areas: Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo and the Tourist Corridor.

Where to Stay in Los Cabos

Cabo San Lucas is the most well-known area of Los Cabos. Here you’ll find lots of fun nightlife, plenty of shopping, and delicious restaurants. It’s also home to the famous marina area and Los Arcos (The Arch) rock formation. Don’t forget to stop by Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo!
San Jose del Cabo is a smaller (and more authentic) town with a distinct Hacienda-style. You’ll find quaint restaurants and a weekly Art Walk.
San Jose del Cabo is close to the airport, so it’s great for a quick getaway or long weekend visit.
The Tourist Corridor is the area of resorts between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. Full of all-inclusive resort options ranging from budget to luxury, this is the perfect spot if you want to explore both towns.

What to do in Los Cabos

Los Arcos (the Arch) is a stunning and famous rock formation. But it’s not something to just take photos of! Venture out to Los Arcos and you can kayak, snorkel, or try stand-up paddle boarding!

Get bored after laying by the pool for a few days? This adventure will get your adrenaline pumping for sure. Take an off-road adventure and traverse the scenic canyons and mountain trails of the nearby desert.

While you’re exploring, you’ll learn all about the regional culture, geography, and history from your local expert guide.

Plan your trip for mid-December through April if you want to see the waters of Cabo San Lucas full of humpback whales on their yearly migration.

The waters around Cabo are full of a rich variety of smaller game fish. Go out deep sea fishing for a day and catch anything from Spanish Mackerel to Roosterfish, Red Snapper, Jack Crevalle, Yellow Tail, Rockfish, Amber Jack, Grouper, Triggerfish, Dorado, Yellow Fin Tuna, and Wahoo.

Even better? You can take your catch to one of the small mom-and-pop marina restaurants where they will cook your fish on the spot — the freshest fish tacos you’ll ever have!
